People, Place, and Time

Telling my family's stories

Elmer Earl Ritenour’s draft card for WWI. He was eventually drafted and put into Company D, 132nd Infantry, 33rd Division. He made the rank of Corporal, and saw heavy fighting in France. The card gives some basic information about him, including that he lived at 727 Main Street in Savanna. He lists his occupation as railroad fireman, and he continued to work for the railroad after he came back from the war.

Earl Ritenour > Elmer Ritenour > etc.
