People, Place, and Time

Telling my family's stories

Log Church Photo

A photograph of Log Church, near Hanover, Illinois in the 1800s. From the book Hanover by Terry Miller.

Archibald Robinson helped build this church, and the early Scots-Irish settlers of the area, all of whom were presbyterian, attended it. Most of the Goldens and Robinsons are buried in this churchyard. The church has long since fallen.
